The Friends of the Nevada County Libraries organization is able to help our County Libraries as much as we do through the very generous donations of the community. A majority of money raised is done by selling donated books, movies and music CDs. Important also are outright donations and donations given in memory or honor of another. Remembrance donations can be an open gift or one toward a specific purpose, for example the purchase of a specific book title.

Book Donations

Accepted donations are paper and hardback books, recorded music, movies and audio books. Please no magazines, encyclopedias or textbooks.

Books can be dropped off at any of the County Libraries or outside Raley’s grocery store in Grass Valley. Large pick-ups can be arranged by e-mailing the Friends at friends@ncfol.org.
